PADI Dive Master Course
You have completed several dive courses, you’ve logged at least 40 dives and you want more. You really like to share your passion for diving with others… Those are the signs telling you that you need to become a PADI Divemaster.
When you are a Divemaster, a new world of possibilities opens up:
- you can apply for jobs at divecenters all over the world;
- you will be assisting instructors during their courses;
- you are a dive guide;
- you are allowed to conduct introduction dives.
Theory
There are three knowledge development possibilities or a combination of options. These are to attend classroom (or one on one) presentations by your instructor, study online by means of the PADI e-learning program or you can use the Divemaster Manual and Video for self-study.
Practice
During these sessions you will gain a lot of experience. You will be familiarized with the specific programs a PADI Divemaster is allowed to conduct. You will be taught to execute all the skills you’ve learned during the previous courses on a demonstration level and learn how to assist your instructor during underwater classes.
You will have to complete several assignments, like creating an underwater chart before you can be certified to become a PADI staff member.
The program is quite extensive, so please contact us for all the details.
