For getting to Marsa Alam, you have several options.

If you are flying from Europe, you can fly directly to Marsa Alam, Hurghada or Cairo from many major European city. From the United States there are also several options: you can fly into one of the European cities that connect directly to Marsa Alam, Harghada or Cairo or you can fly directly to Cairo with Egypt Air and get a connecting flight to Marsa Alam.

Marsa Alam

Flying to Marsa Alam International Airport is by far the best option. Flights come into Marsa Alam regularly from major European cities like London, France or Amsterdam. Guests flying from the USA can easily find a connecting flight from any major European airport. The airport is about 70 km north of the camp, it's an hour car drive to the camp.

Hurghada

Flying into Hurghada International Airport is also a good option. It is only a three hour drive from Hurghada to Marsa Alam. It is easier to find flights to this destination as it is a more serviced Airport.

Cairo

Flying to Cairo is a good option for people coming in from the USA. All the major airlines fly to Cairo International Airport. By flying to Cairo two or three days prior to your stay with us, you can visit the Pyramids, the National Museum and other attractions. It will help you to get over the jet lag before you proceed to Marsa Alam. After the Cairo visit you can either fly down to Marsa Alam or take a ten hour bus. The bus ride is a spectacular drive down the Red Sea coast, stopping in famous coastal cities like Hurghada, Quseir and Safaga. This two or three day Cairo Excursion is not included in the price of any package, but can be worked out depending on your individual wishes.
